(EN)“La Transformación” (The Transformation) inspired by the Aztec legend of the God Xolotl.  Xolotl's responsibility was to guide the sun in the underworld. He had to be sacrificed so that the sun would continue on its path. To avoid the sacrifice, Xolotl transformed himself into corn, into agave plant and axolotl. The guiding task in the underworld was also attributed to the xoloescuincle, the hairless dog. Currently the xoloescuincle is one of the most representative symbols of the Day of the Dead in Mexico.

(ES)“La Transformación", inspirado en la leyenda Azteca del dios Xolotl quien debía sacrificarse para que el sol continuara su camino. Para evitar el sacrificio, Xolotl se transformó en  una mazorca, en maguey y en ajolote. La responsabilidad de Xolotl era guiar al sol en el inframundo, por ello se le atribuye esa misma tarea al Xoloescuincle. Actualmente uno de los símbolos más representativos de las celebraciones del día de muertos en México.
